Rock band originated in Baltimore. There were several formations of the band led by husband-and-wife team Jim Patton (guitar, vocal, songwriter), and Sherry Brocus (vocals), with members including Rob Martin (guitar), Jeff Vreeland (bass), Linda Morris (vocals), Len Morris (drums), Jon Patton (keys, guitar), Scott Evans (acoustic guitar), bassist Bill Fields joined in 1991. Georgie Jessup also filled in on some keyboards when her group Wavelength split up.
The band recorded at Hit and Run Studios in Rockville and released their first album “By the Water” in 1986.
Edge City performed at many showcase clubs including New York City’s CBGB’s. The group played locally while also touring nationally, relocating to Austin, Texas in ‘90s.
Martin, and Vreeland were also with the Georgie Jessup Band… They and Morris were with Winkte & Crazy Sacred Dogs…
