Member of R&B recording duo Gene & Eddie. A Ru-Jac Records warehouse find included a reel-to-reel tape labeled Gene Dorsett with the song titles and markings “Don’t You Know” (117+6), “She’s True Enough” (133+6), and “I Would Cry.” The box also labeled Ru-Jac 2449. It is not yet known if these were released on vinyl as a Dorsett solo effort. Gene & Eddie released “Don’t You Know” on Ru-Jac 202, and “I Would Cry” on Ru-Jac 0023.
