Bluegrass recording group. Delaney (lead vocal, guitar) originally hailed from Silver Lake, WV. The group also included Chris Warner (banjo – see Carroll County Ramblers), Bill Tolbert (mandolin), Vernon McIntyre (vocals), Anne Wariner (snare drum, vocals), Russ Hooper (dobro – see Franklin County Boys, Walter Hensley), and Bobby Diamond (fiddle).
Delaney also hosted a bluegrass television program in 1969 on WMET-TV, channel 26 – The “Delmer Delaney Hayloft” featuring Delaney & his Windy Mountain Boys.
Hooper also toured with Jimmy Martin, and the Carroll County Ramblers.
