Rock and roll band started out doing mostly Buddy Holly covers. Led by Vince Corolla (keyboards, vocals), with Buddy DeVilbiss (guitar, vocals), Stu Wertz (bass), Tommy Walker, Ronnie Schmidt (drums), Gary D’Addario (guitar)… Additional members included Bill Reed (guitar), Dave Hardin (lead vocals), Tom Palacorolla (drums), Marty Thompson (vocals)… Seen at the Hitching Post night club…
Del Vinos manager Roy Gunther also managed the Artesians, and Legends. Later ‘60s members included Ed Schisler (guitar), and Jim Peddicord (bass). A performance at the Latin Casino caught the attention of Mitch Ryder who hired Schisler and others as his touring band. Schisler was later with Ajax, Bottom’s Up, and in ‘04 with the Berwick Street Project… Vince later with Raintree, Krackerjax (that also did a floor show as Danny & the Del Vinos… Tommy P was later with Sound of Dust, Schmidt later with the Joyriders… Wertz and D’Addario went on to the Arcades, Joyriders, Omegas, Caravelles… Thompson joined the Arcades… Peddicord was with Chalet…
