Washington D.C. based R&B vocalist was instrumental in founding the Young Senators in 1965. After splitting from the group, he toured nationally with his Derek David Trio. In 1970 he released the R&B ballad “The Winter of Our Love” b/w an up-tempo funky instrumental “The Morning After.” Record pressed at Recordings Incorporated RI3098).
David went on to join the world-famous Platters.
