Top-40 rock and originals group. National Star Search winner in 1985 with their song “I’m A Runner.” The song was included on the 1986 “98 Rock Album, Vol. III” and featured Tessie Grace (lead vocals ex-Heaven and Earth), Joe Loftus (guitar), Wayne Leek (keyboards), and Dale Pfeiffer (bass)…
Additional members during the mid-‘80s included guitarist Gary Waugh (who also worked concurrently with Bell & Wilhelm), Tony Phillips (guitar –Tiffany, Pedestrians…), Jeff Mullen (drums)… The group in 1989 consisted of Grace, Mullen, Doug Casteen (guitar), Michael Glasser (keys), and Jeff Wolinski (bass).
A 2006 lineup featured Tessie Grace (lead vocals), Frank McCreary (guitar), Bo Eckard (bass), Dave Unger (keyboards, percussion), Glen Caldwell (saxophone), and Chuck Riebling (drums ex-Spanky, Spice, Act III).

Cry Monday played most local clubs and private affairs while also traveling throughout the east coast. Seen At Baltimore Inner Harbor Amphitheater…

Riebling also worked as a session drummer for many local studios. His work can be heard on John Palumbo’s 1985 album “Blowing Up Detroit” (HME Records).
