Recorded in Baltimore and released the LP “Dream Images” which featured studio work by O’Donel Levy (guitar), Charlie Etzel (keyboards), Bob Butta (piano), Gary Richardson (bass), Willie Barber (drums), John Lanier (percussion), Jimmy Wells (vibes, synthesizer), Steve Blackmore (vocals), Charlie Covington (synthesizer), Harold I. Williams II (keyboards), Ricky Knox (bass), and Hugh Walker (drums).
Cabell had previously recorded with John Patton on LP’s “Memphis To New York Spirit” (1969 Blue Note), “Accent on The Blues” (1969 Blue Note), and on Johnny Lytle album “People & Love” (1972 Milestone).
