Country group featuring Laurie (vocals), Brian Miller (lead guitar, vocals), Wayne Penczek (bass, vocals),  John  (drums -later replaced by Jerry Haebler.

As the band was just forming, Penczek invited ex-Indecision member Tim Amann to play rhythm guitar. Wayne and Tim had worked together for years on their day jobs but had never gotten together musically.

Amann described “a hallmark of Buck Shot was (our) dynamic vocals and the wall of sound that Brian created with his guitar mastery. We performed at Stabiles, Rockabilly’s, and several other country music establishments, mostly on the east side of town.”

John and Tim left in 1995 while Jerry stepped in on percussion. Other changes were brewing as Buck Shot continued changing personnel and evolved into the classic rock group Bak-Traxx around 1997 featuring remaining members Wayne and Brian.

That eventually morphed into popular Parkville area group The Front in the early ‘00s. Amann went on to join Striking Distance, Pet Rock… He and Penczek also later worked as the duo Wize Gize.
