Soul band formerly known as the Emmeralds led by vocalist Bob Berry. The rhythm section consisted of Duke Haynes (lead guitar), Dennis Rose (rhythm guitar), Joe Pinieski (bass), and LaMar Davies (drums). The brass section included Mike Meckler (trumpet), Ray Parseghin (tenor sax), and Andy Parseghin (alto sax).
Seen at local teen centers, CYO’s (St. Brigid’s, Our Lady of Fatima, Holy Rosary, St. Elizabeth’s…), school dances, Rosewood State Hospital… They appeared at Kenwood High School on April 19, 1968. Also competed in the Teen Fair Battle of the Bands at the Civic Center in June 1968. The group performed benefit concerts for the March of Dimes, and the Granger School for handicapped children.
