Formed as a blues roots cover band. Douglass left in late 1990 and was replaced with Barry Seiver, a guitarist from Florida who had worked with the Pretenders, Ramones and others. Blind Dog began focusing on Wright’s original material consisting of hard rocking blues. Signed to Vision Quest Records and released albums on the Laurie label.
