Formed as a blues roots cover band. The Blind Dog Blues Band featured Tom Wright (guitar, vocals), Matt Douglass (guitar ex-Red Tape, The Edge, Reactors), Mike Hack (bass ex-Michaels & Hack, Broken Arrow, Al Wescott Band), and Bill Beachler (drums ex-Reactors, Satin Doll). The group performed at the Full Moon, Café Tattoo, 15 Mile House…
Douglass left in late 1990 and was replaced with Barry Seiver, a guitarist from Florida who had worked with the Pretenders, Ramones and others. Blind Dog began focusing on Wright’s original material consisting of hard rocking blues. Signed to Vision Quest Records and released albums on the Laurie label.
