Formerly known as Little Richy & the Jesters (see bio), changed their name in June 1970. Full time Top-40 and album cuts band. Members included Larry France (lead vocals), Al Donatelli (guitar), Rich Stastny (keyboards), Dave Yanuk (bass), Don Schmitz (trombone, flute, vocals), and Ron Dlugokeski (drums ex-Chevelles, As You Like It)… The group opened for Rare Earth at the Steelworkers Hall on August 5, 1970. Opened for Soft Machine on February 22, 1974. They performed at the UAW Hall, Our Lady of Fatima 1971 Spring Carnival, Club Venus, Sweeney’s, Monday nights at Mr. Bojangles, and annual summer trips to Ocean City to appear at the Pier Ballroom.

By 1974 Rich, Ron, Al formed the Madhatters. Rich and Don became members of Tiffany. Don’s other bands included Exit, Day Star, Pieces, Jigsaw (’00s band).
The Madhatters later morphed into the bands Stepping Out, and Tiffany…
