“Beavers Cleavers were active in the Baltimore punk scene from 1981-1984. There were 2 versions of the band. Craig Campeggi (bass), Greg Breazeale (guitar), Phil Brock (vocals) and Roger Sampson (drums). We wrote most of our songs and did covers of Ramones tunes plus some revamped oldies like, ‘At the Hop’ and ‘I’m a Believer.”

“The second version of the band was Craig on bass, me (Greg Breazeale) on guitar, and Smash (Greg Kozak) on drums. We played The Marble Bar, Galaxy Ballroom, Oddfellows Hall in Towson, O’Briens Pub and various other places around town.”

Greg’s son, Brandon, carried on the family musical tradition as a drummer, playing with his dad in the modern surf band Go Dog Go, and went on to tour with hip-hop artist Jack Kays. As of this writing, March 2025, had just wrapped up a 6-week U.S. tour ending with a sold-out show at the 9:30 Club in D.C.
