After a brief run as Third Party, Gary Brown’s new group was formed circa 1985-86 called Beat Boys. This latest group included Gary (guitar, sax, vocals), with Rob Fahey (guitar), Angelo Grandinetti (bass), and Larry Bavaro (drums). They performed rock covers and originals at Donnelly’s (Frederick), Max’s on Broadway (Fells Point), Marshall’s (Calvert St.), McDougall’s (before it was a strip joint), Lucky Ned Pepper’s, Oliver’s (Hagerstown), Garfield’s, Brass Rail, Sheraton Potomac…
