Well I can’t post pics of a bunch of local clubs without noting the family business! Back of the Vac started on the lower level of Vaccarino’s Restaraunt on corner of Rt 40 and St Johns Lane in Ellicott City. Originally a piano bar called The Wine Cellar, then Back of the Vac throughout most of the 1980’s. Employees of the restaurant had a contest and chose the name which came from a play on words of The Back of the Rack behind the Wine Rack in Ocean City.
