A name taken from a character in the classic ‘60s movie “To Kill a Mockingbird.” The group featured Bob Gussio (lead guitar), Bob Kelly (guitar, trumpet), Jeff Andrews (bass), Steve Fingles (keyboards), and Rick Gussio (drums, vocals) and could be seen at the Maiden Choice Teen Center, and the Campus Cabana Club in Towson.
Their song “The Nightmare” was eponymously included on the 1979 various artists compilation “The Best of Baltimore’s Buried” (Balto-Weird 1001).
Andrews went on to a successful career in jazz music performing and recording with artists such as Blood Sweat & Tears, Special EFX, Bob Berg, Michael Brecker, Wayne Shorter Quartet, Larry Coryell Band, Mike Stern Trio…
Bob Gussio was later a member of the band Windows.
