Hoppy Adams was a well-known radio personality in the area during his tenure with WANN radio in Annapolis. Outside of radio he was a concert promoter – seen at the Club Ambassador on Fayette Street – hosting the Swallows, Twilighters, and others. He was part owner and often the emcee at Carr’s Beach in Anne Arundel County near Annapolis where he broadcast live music on his radio program.
