Recording artist / actor. Eddie was not from the Baltimore area although he released a single on Jack Gale’s Jalo Records label. In 1956 while working as program director at radio station WTMA – Charleston, SC Jack heard Eddie’s Vik label single “I Look at You.” Impressed with the record, Jack invited Eddie to the studio. They recorded “Where Is De Woman” b/w “It Ain’t Gonna Happen No More” and pressed about 100 copies on Jalo 102. The records were sold at Jack’s record store in Charleston. The record has subsequently been bootlegged. Additionally, Eddie had records released on X, Decca, Chancellor, Argo, Sunbeam, Vin, and Warner Brothers labels as a solo artist and on duets with Karen Chandler, and Jerry Granahan. In 1962-62 Eddie landed an acting part on the hit ABC-TV series “The Gallant Men.”
