Top-40 band formerly known as the Notations. Members included Jim Fisher (guitar), Bruce Baggan (guitar), Al Schlimm (guitar ex-Bitter Blue, Fable), George Collier (bass), Tommy Thompson (keyboards) replaced with Dave Burgess (ex-Orange Wedge, Patch), Rick Teufel (drums ex-Diplomats), Phil (vocals), Bob Perry (guitar ex-White Light, Grapes of Wrath), and Bob Harry (guitar ex-Jake).
Flywheel played local clubs and school dances including Howard High School Mardi Gras Ball on February 11, 1975. The group opened for Country Joe McDonald on February 6, 1974 at Hollywood Palace.
Thompson went on to play with Bob Brady’s Rise, Great Train Robbery, Admirals… Perry later with Nemo… Collier was later with Switch, Keith LaMotte Band… Burgess later with Clover.
