Country, country-rock, and oldies band. George Herring (lead guitar, vocals), Ray Austin (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Tim Gardner (steel guitar, vocals), Jerry Plett (bass, keyboards, vocals), and Billy Freeland (drums). Gardner and Plett left group in 1984 and Fred Zang (bass ex-Trigger Happy, Crossroads) joined. Decoy’s sound technician was Randy Denmyer, and the group was managed by Larry Riley.
