Their debut CD “Accordions Are Cool” (1998) featured Kraig Greff (accordion, piano), Jay Corey (bass, lead vocals), Chris Huntington (guitar, vocals), Jay Edwards (drums), and John Przylepa (scrub board). In late ’90s they added bass guitarist Conrad St. Clair.

By the mid-‘00s the Crawdaddies featured Greff, and Huntington, with Darryl Matarozza (bass, vocals ex-Shor Patrol, The Approach), Tim Steele (drums ex-Ravyns, The Approach), and Rick Olaguer (vocals, guitar, washboard ex-Tiffany). A 2007 lineup featured Greff, Huntington, with Kenny Jones (vocals, guitar, washboard), Chris Sellman (bass –disappear fear, Charlie Don’t Surf), and Bob Hill (drums –Kelly Bell Band).
The group performed at local clubs, and national college and festival circuits. Seen at the Belvedere’s 13th Floor… The Crawdaddies have opened for many artists including Buckwheat Zydeco, Charlie Daniels, Joan Jett, Buddy Guy, Kid Creole & the Coconuts, and many others.

CD releases include the full-length albums “Accordions Are Cool,” “Spice It Up,” and the EP “More Happy Songs for Hard Times.” Their song “Swamp Music” from the “Spice It Up” CD was selected as theme song for the New England Sports Network cable television program Port-O-Call.
Olaguer also worked in duo with Angelo Cammarata, and founded The Olaguer Project…
