CITY FIXX formed during 1987 in Baltimore, MD, with an early line-up of Kevin Bern (lead vocalist), Anthony Carrera (bass), Victor Carrera (guitar), Michael ‘Skinz’ Skinsacos (guitar), and Eric Anderson (drums).
With a lot of supporting slots to bands such as GREAT WHITE, TORA TORA, FEMME FATALE, HEAVEN & CHILD’S PLAY, and a massive radio support, CITY FIXX became a Rock favorite of many Hard-Rock fans in the Maryland and Pennsylvania area.
Armed with strong original material, a great infectious live show, solid musicianship and a big self-confidence and desire to be “the next big thing”, CITY FIXX entered (between 1989 and 1991) recording studio working with legendary producer Kim Fowley (Kiss, Poison, Ritchie Blackmore, Runaways) and recorded a bunch of demos and some ultimately never-released sessions, all of them will be contained in the next-to-be-released CD, to be featured in the “Lost U.S. Jewels” series.
