Wedding and Top-40 band. The group was also very active in performing for wedding receptions; 50% by referral and the balance through Martin’s. The guys always wore tuxedos for all the weddings. They worked at American Legions, Moose, VFW’s, Essex Day, the Wishing Well, the Belford House at Belair Road and Frankford Avenue…
Members included Norm Seifert (guitar ex-United Endeavor, Iguana…), replaced by Gary Sweda (Baker Street), replaced by Al Schlimm (ex-Act III, Paradise), Don McCaig (keyboards ex-Rock Island Express) was later replaced by Graham Eckler (formerly of Iguana, Shane), Phil Cashmyer (bass ex-Collections, Clover), and Denny Cashmyer (drums ex-Collections, Clover) was replaced by Joe Stamboni (ex-Falstaff, Phoenix). Eileen (Chase) Chaffee provided lead female vocals – see bio. Al Schlimm (bass -ex-Spice, Fifth Avenue, Act III, Paradise), and Tim Landers (guitar) also had stints with Chapter IV.
Schlimm went on to play for Jazz Happens (’89-93)… Seifert later with City Lights… Stamboni and Eckler also with the Dalton Gang…
