Classic oldies station 105.7 formerly the frequency for WKTK / K105. Air personalities at the station included Morning team Lou Krieger and Linda Sherman, Phlash Phelps, Mike Thomas, Tom Davis, Andy Daniels, Maynard G, Bob Worthington, Barry Michaels, Joyce Leonard, Jennifer Steele, Sue Serio, Steve Cochran, Flying Dutchman, Ken Merson, Bob W, Chuck Lawrence… Local favorite Steve Rouse ruled the morning airwaves with his long running Rouse & Company program.


Alan Lee’s “Forgotten 45’s” was a Sunday night staple for almost 20 years playing popular and obscure R&B music of the ‘50s and ‘60s.

In 2006 the station abruptly laid off all air personalities and switched formats to the canned “Jack-FM” radio hits format.
Rouse went on to work at WBAL, hosted a TV talk show, Maryland Lottery drawings and game shows, as well as hosting many charity functions. His voice overs could be heard for many local and national businesses. He was also a recipient of the prestigious “Marconi Award” in honor of his excellence in radio broadcasting.
Maynard G was lead vocalist and played guitar as well as harmonica in the Steve Rouse Band, and later with Flipside…
Steve Rouse led his parody band Stevie & the Satellites (see bio). The group released a series of albums which were sold to benefit The WQSR Children’s Fund charity.
