Top-40 band consisted of John Daniello (lead vocals), John Bosley (guitar, backing vocals), Tim Amann (guitar), John Jewitt (bass), and John Giles (drums). Jewitt was later replaced with Gary Smith.
What started out as high school friends jamming eventually came together in 1977 with the addition of Daniello on vocals. Tyme was popular on the west side of town playing at CYO’s, local pools, and private parties. Tyme played the sounds of the day doing everything from AC/DC, Foghat and Deep Purple to some disco style songs, and some fifties and sixties popular songs.

Tyme broke up in 1981 and all the members went their separate ways into various projects and other bands. They would reunite in various forms over the years. As of this writing Bosley performs with Group Therapy. Amann and Giles went on to join Wreckless Abandon… Tim continued performing into the ‘00s with his group Pet Rock.
