Margie’s trio made appearances at Sperl’s. She released a single (78rpm) in the mid ‘50s “Let’s Build a Dream” b/w “Love Affair.”
The trio included Margie (vocals), with Hal Dillman (piano), and Betty Leary (organ).
Shearer went on to the Poly-Tones, and the Ziggy Travers Trio.
