Founded by multi-instrumentalist John Grant in 1983. Grant was a member of a number of local bands including Fireworks, Krackerjax, the Middle River Band, the Gary Proud Trio… He established his Secret Sound Studios in 1983 and went on to produce, engineer, and/or perform on recordings by countless local and national artists of varied musical styles.
