Former RaVons Gary Soleas (keyboard) and Clyde Weitzel (guitar) went into the military service in 1961. Both came out about the same time and formed the Gary Sea Trio with drummer Don Henritz. Throughout 1965-68 they performed frequently at George’s 6408, then the Gaslight Lounge at Howard Johnson’s Westview. Soon growing tired of the club scene, they began performing at banquets, bull roasts, weddings and private parties, taking regular gigs at The Barn (Glen Burnie), then La Fontaine Bleu halls, Martin’s West, Martin’s Westminster, Overlea Hall…

Along the way they added a female vocalist and became the Gary Sea Band.

Weitzel retired from performing around 1983. Henritz was with the Invictas, And the Echoes, and many other groups…

The group continued into the ‘90s…
