Jordan Rudess attended the Julliard School of Music as a teenager and went on to become an accomplished and highly respected keyboard player. After leaving Apricot Brandy in late-‘70s he joined Speedway Blvd with Gregg Hoffman (guitar), Dennis Feldman (bass), Roy Herring (vocals, piano), and Glenn Dove (drums). They released a self-titled album in 1981 on Epic Records.

In 1988 Jordan released his first solo album “Arrival.” His 1993 release “Listen” (Invincible Records) earned the “Best New Talent” title by Keyboard Magazine’s Readers Poll. Subsequent solo albums include “Secrets of the Muse” (1997 KeyWiz Music), “Resonance” (1999 independent pressing), “Feeding the Wheel” (2001 Magna Carta), and “4NYC” (2002) of which a portion of album proceeds are donated to victims of 9/11. As a duo with Rod Morgenstein (drummer of the Dixie Dregs) released 1999 album “Rudess Morgenstein Project” (Domo Records). 2001 CD “An Evening with John Petrucci & Jordan Rudess” (JP of Dream Theater on Sound Mind Music). With group Liquid Tension Experiment released self-titled CD in 1998 on Magna Carta label and Liquid Tension Experiment Vol 2 in 1999. As a member of Dream Theater, he appeared on the WEA/Elektra CD’s “Scenes from a Memory” (2000), “Live Scenes From New York” (2001), and “Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence” (2002).

While touring and/or recording with many top artists including the Paul Winter Consort, Dixie Dregs, David Bowie (appears on the 2002 CD “Heathen”), and many others, Jordan has also appeared on recordings by Vinnie Moore, Annie Haslam, Rhonda Larson, Scott McGill, Prefab Sprout… In ‘00s he toured worldwide with Dream Theater.
