Big Ray and the Re-Echoes appeared at Jones Green Door Lounge in 1958. As the Six Re-Echoes they also performed at Dovi’s Musical Lounge.
In 1964 the group appeared at Steve’s Cocktail Lounge on Central Avenue featuring vocalist Kenny Hamber. Kenny eventually went on to Philadelphia and made a name for himself as a popular soul singer. The Kenny-less Re-Echoes continued in Baltimore, seen at Charlotte’s Fiesta.
