Teen vocalist. She released the single “I Walk the Line” b/w “Boll Weevil Twist” with orchestra and chorus directed by Jack Gale.
She went on to sing with The Honeycombs (seen at the Coronet Lounge circa 1962), and with Al Knight’s group the Untouchables.
Joy co-wrote with Jack Gale the song “Sadest Song (of the Year)” as recorded by Ronnie Dove.
