Soul band featuring the lead vocals of Jimmy Dotson. Members included Johnny Jones (guitar), Ricky Wilson (sax), Warren Burrell (bass), and James ‘Hambone’ Anthony (drums). Jones and Wilson had previously been members of Ricky & the Chips.
The group later added vocalist Gloria Brooks. With the dual vocals the group was able to perform covers of artists such as Gaye & Terrell, etc. Dotson and Brooks would also alternate on entire sets.
