Top-40 dance band featuring members of the original Both Worlds “Baltimore Horns” section including Ray Sydnor (saxes, flute), Tom Head (trumpet, flugelhorn), Sammy Dyson (trombone, flute, kalimba), with Ralph Tucker (drums ex-Both Worlds), Bobby Groszer (keys), Tom DiPaula (bass ex Royal 5+1, Hyde Park), Anthony Galante (percussion ex-Source), and other ex-Hyde Park members Jeff Cheers (guitar), and Ray Polanski (lead vocals, trumpet). The group also featured Gary Leslie ‘Boo’ Langston (guitar ex-Both Worlds), and some additional members from New Jersey.

“One for All (‘78) played predominately club dance music – Trammps, Heat Wave, Earth Wind and Fire, Commodores, etc.” according to Sydnor, “One for All (‘79) played music of and influenced by Tower of Power, Average White Band, LTD, Brecker Brothers, Maynard Ferguson, and was especially noted for an extensive coverage of material from Earth Wind and Fire. We also did some originals. Both editions of OFA had an emphasis on high production values. Rocco Pepe ran the visuals and Steve Guest ran sound. When Steve left, Rick Borroughs took his place.”
The group played throughout Florida, Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey.
Langston, Sydnor, Dyson and Tucker moved to Atlantic City in the early ‘80s and joined the group Then & Now. In 1985 Langston and several members of the group split off to form Cheers the Band.
