Soul band from Dundalk area. When it became apparent that there was another group in the area with the same name, they became known as the Noblemen from Dundalk. As a house band at the Keystone Inn they played Wilson Pickett and Motown style soul music. Seen on double bills with the Benny Johnson Quintet. The group, led by Tom Smith (vocals) was managed by Lou Karpouzie and made recordings at Monumental Studios “Come on Home” and “Return to Rock.”

Guitarist Ron Rouch (ex-Electra-Tones) was asked to fill in on a gig at the Zoo Club and was subsequently hired. The group also performed at Hoffman’s Lounge, Hollywood Park…

Rouch went on to join the Golden Impalas, Collections & Civics…
