Folk duo from Owings Mills area Ron Lewis and Gary Dolgoff. They performed at area coffeehouses including Morning After, 1776, Patches 15 Below, and the Universal Joint. They also traveled to Greenwich Village in New York and performed at The Bitter End…

In the early ‘70s they expanded to a full band adding Frank Smoot (guitar), Roger Scarborough (bass), Alex Horn (violin), and Stan Rae (drums). The group played originals with a country rock sound. They performed locally at frat parties, Harford Community College, the Classroom on Charles Street (where they shared billing with John Kay, and the Michael Goldberg Band), UMBC concert with Mary Travers, The Cellar Door in D.C. (with Bill & Taffy Danoff, Emmylou Harris, and others)… The group performed gigs with Phil Ochs, Tim Hardin, Linda Ronstadt, Poco, and America. They did auditions for Warner Brothers, and RCA Records, but no records were released.

Lewis & Dolgoff eventually traveled to the west coast. Dolgoff sang with the New Christy Minstrels, then later worked with Peter Frampton.
