Soul group formed by classmates at Douglass High School. Members included Michael ‘Ying’ Jackson (lead guitar), Andre ‘Baja’ (rhythm guitar), Reggie Ennis ‘Mongo’ (bass), William ‘Weasel’ (keyboards), Wiley Clinton aka ‘Saladen’ (drums), Darrell Jackson (vocals, percussion), Carlos Jackson (vocals, timbales), Anthony Burns aka ‘Tacomba’ (tenor sax), Gilbert Gordon aka ‘Shime’ (trumpet), and Steve Royal aka ‘M’tuka’ (alto sax ex-Odyssey). Everyone in the group went by their adopted Arabic nicknames and last name of Bahiji… just like the local group (Chocolate) Rain had also done.
