In 1993 Joe Tropea formed The Vince Bagli Experience with his former Shadowmen bandmates Tom Morgan (guitar ex-Spies, Swarm, Truckload of Fuckers, Postman), and Skizz Cyzyk (see bio). Morgan took over the group and renamed them Jag. The band frequented The Rev, Club Midnight, the Mansion Theater and Memory Lane, plus various NYC clubs.

In 1994 Tropea and Cyzyk left the group, and Morgan put together a new line-up that included Miyuki Furtado (percussion) and Shirle Hale (bass), both of Gerty, and guitarist Danial Krampf.

Jag’s song “Try” was included on the 1995 Baltimore alternative music comp “Walking by A Building” (Hat Factory).

Cyzyk and Tropea went on to play in Gill, Dirty Sanchez and The Jennifers. Furtado went on to play in Pornflakes, Dirty Sanchez, Rogers Sisters and Shock Cinema. Krampf moved to Germany. Morgan relocated to the San Francisco area, and was a member of Transcender…
