Rock band featuring an early lineup of Gil Bateman (guitar), Dave Joran (guitar), Benny Sudano (guitar, vocals), Scott Broyles (bass), and Jimmy Eurwood (drums).
In 1979 guitarist Ken Massey joined the band.
Hare Trigger did some recordings at Sheffield Studios that were never released, sometimes referred to as “the Lost Sheffield Recordings.”
Massey left the band in 1980 and joined Legacy…
Sudano continued to write music and in 1994 he re-formed Hare Trigger in an effort to record his original compositions. The group consisting of Sudano, Broyles, Eurwood, and Massey released the CD “Just Believe.”
Shortly after the CD release Sudano had a heart attack and passed away. The group tried to continue but it just wasn’t the same.
Massey (see bio) turned to his classically trained roots, continued performing in church, and studied jazz.
